What type of hair product should I use?

I have this sorta kinky hair. It's definitely curly but as soon as at dries up my hair shribbles up. It doesn't really make sense to me. I straighten my hair a lot. I've never relaxed it or anything I just want something that will keep my hair from shribbling up and something to define my curls. Thanks
