Has your child ever had pinworm? How did you find out?

My nephew had it when he was 3. His mom figured it out because he had little white worms in his poop. We think he got it from letting the dog kiss him in the mouth. Don't feel bad. Hindsight is 20/20 right? My daughter was cutting her first molars. She ran a low grade fever, slept all the time, was cranky when she was awake, stopped eating solids, and when we put her down her balance was a little off. Her fever spiked to 103 so we took her to the doctor. She had a double ear infection that had been going on for about 2 weeks. We thought her symptoms were related to teething and everybody we talked to thought so too. I felt awful and looking back, all of the symptoms point at ear infection.
