How do you straighten your hair without a hair straightener?

I'm a guy with hair that touches my collar and covers my eyebrows and i'm trying to grow it shoulder length but the problem is that when my bangs get to my eyes they flip up and it's the same with the back of my hair too it looks ridiculous and my grandparents won't let me get a straightener.
