Small swollen bump under the skin on my palm?

My wife has had this bump 'in' her hand for the past 2 months almost. We have tried popping it, and nothing comes out but clear liquid sometimes. It is located in the general area between her index finger and thumb on her palm. It started out small and progressively got worse, it was very tender and painful for her to touch it or to use anything with that hand. Just from observation it looked as if it was swelling like there was a splinter in her hand and it was just getting infected, BUT it had since disappeared (swelling and redness gone away), and returned 2 other times. Each time it turns the area red-ish and bruised looking very bad. My husband and I didn't plan our baby, even though she is the best thing that has ever happened to us. I was planning on finishing school before settling down and I was managing a restaurant and going to school when I got pregnant. My husband works for a wafer company and works 12 hour night shifts and only makes 12 dollars an hour...That is currently our only income because we have little to no day care for me to go to work. (The IRS got his dad's and his social numbers mixed up since they have the same name, this mess started about 4 years ago and they still haven't straightened it out. Still haven't caught up on things. Our second car broke down. Found an injured pigeon; What can I do to help it?

I found a white pigeon with certain brown markings the other day in Orange Crest. It couldn't fly so I checked it and it's wing was really injured. When I took it home, I cleaned it up real good and found that it had a giant splinter in it's wing, which I pulled out. I think that it may have been attacked by an animal in the neighborhood. It looks very healthy besides it's wing. He has a healthy appetite and everything. Currently I am cleaning the wound with hydrogen peroxide 3 times daily since I am not sure that triple antibiotic is safe for it. I also wanna bandage it's wing so that it doesn't move it around a lot but everything I try, it gets pulled off. I am an African American with naturally curly hair. (Think Jeri Curl.) It is not very thick and reaches approximately shoulder level when dry. I've struggled all my life to get it to where it is now. One bad perm (and incidentally, my first and only perm) wrecked major havoc. Today, it is considerably manageable: straightening at the roots and producing only to 2cm wide bun when pulled into a ponytail . So here's my question: Will the Navy straighten my hair to cut it? I've read millions of posts about how and why they cut it, but no one has described what they do with curly hair. I am truly considering joining (DCO). Hi. My husband and I decided to take 6 kids camping with us and 2 of them were mine. The rest were my nieces aged from 6-13. My kids Lizzy age 2 and Maddie age 4 and my nieces Alayna age 6, Nicole age 10, Jaymee age 11 and Britney age 13. I am 28 myself and my husband is 29. We decided since Alayna, Nicole and Jaymee haven't seen Britney since 2009 (Britney moved, but shes moved back into the area) we would take them all camping, BAD IDEA. Well lets start from the begining, we were packing up for 1 weeks trip. All of that food, blankets, pillows, toys etc. We filled up 2 cars with all that stuff (we took 3 total). So we get all packed up and leave. Now Britney has never been camping before. As soon as we got up there Nicole, Jaymee and Britney went to the bathroom and complained about how dirty it was and was recording on the phone saying "the camp store is cleaner than those bathrooms". Then they were talking in hillbilly voices (ANNOYING) and wouldnt shut up while me and my husband were trying to put up our trailer tent. They were singing very loudly with hillbilly voices. Then all the little kids were throwing fits because some couldnt sit by Britney and blah blah blah (They did this alot). Then they argued over who got the tenis racket (we only ahd 3) and the younger kids were screaming and crying because the older kids wouldnt give them turns. Then we let them take a walk on their own before dinner was ready (all together) and who-ever was the "brilliant one" and decided to teach the little kids to knock over port a pottys and chase golfcarts and it was raining too and i went to go look for them and they were going to the place where they tell you what activites there is to do that night (WE TOLD THEM BEFORE WHAT ACTIVITES THERE WAS) and i picked up the little kdis in my car there was no room for the big kids so i made them walk and (stalked them) to make sure they go back to the tent. Then we took them to the park and they were argueing over the teet or tot and my daughter got a splinter and it strated pouring it was horrible, Went back to the tent. Then Nicole wanted to sleep by Britneyy tonight (they stay upo and talk and giggle so NO). She has the biggest fit ever and cried and said "your not the boss of me" and "im not eating " and "my mom made me come on this trip i didnt want to i hate you" and she called her mom and asked to be picked up (Her mom refused to drive because the campsite was 2 1/2 hours away and it was 7pm). So then we ate dinner and they went to the creek now my 2 year old daughter was scared to walk in the water and Jaymee was holding her and asked help from Nicole and Britney but they just left them and went up more in the creek, that irratated me. Then they went to roast marshmellows and burnt everyone of them ON PURPOSE (the older kids im talking about) so it was in the fire. I yelled at them. So theyw ent into the camper. There bed was being help up by 2 steel rods and they jumped ON PURPOSE (they know not too) and one cracked so we yelled at them. Then we went to bed from 9pm-12:30am they were up ALL NIGHT (dont ask why i have NO IDEA they woke me and my husband up, we didnt have any sleeping pills either) shaking the camper, bouncing up and down, making fart noises, whispering, laughing, getting in and out of the camper being OBNOXIOUS (the OLDER kids not the younger ones). Then at 4:30am Nicole was yelling "lets gather around the campfire and sing our campfire song" in a hillbilly voice. I yelled at them to go to bed and this is never happening again and were leaving tomorrow. I turned the TV off at 1:00am so they were doing this in pitch blackness. The little kids were asleep the whole time NOT US. We yelled at them constantly but they didnt care. So the next day we got the lil ones up at 6am and ate breakfast and went golfing (mini golfing) and i dont know why i wasted the 10$ on the older kids cuz they were being smarta$$es and using their hands (video recording it) and going on seperate courses cuz they didnt wanna wait for the lil ones. They said to me in a hillbilly voice "wasnt that a great game of golf arnt we the best golfers" Then we went past a sign that said have a beary good day and theyre like "aunt zoey r u having a beary good day" and saying beary after EVERYTHING they said. We told them to pick up the ground before we left they threw everything in the fire and video recorded it (That made me furious) so I told them to go to the car. They are the most disgustingest people ever. i got a splinter of glass inside my feet, and its really really deep inside, someone helped to take it out for me, but too much blood came out, and they said they weren't able to get it out. Ok here's my story...my parents were drug addicts when I was born. After my birth, My dad quit everything and straightened up but my mom didn't. Found an injured pigeon; What can I do to help it?

I found a white pigeon with certain brown markings the other day in Orange Crest. It couldn't fly so I checked it and it's wing was really injured. When I took it home, I cleaned it up real good and found that it had a giant splinter in it's wing, which I pulled out. I think that it may have been attacked by an animal in the neighborhood. It looks very healthy besides it's wing. He has a healthy appetite and everything. Currently I am cleaning the wound with hydrogen peroxide 3 times daily since I am not sure that triple antibiotic is safe for it. I also wanna bandage it's wing so that it doesn't move it around a lot but everything I try, it gets pulled off. So all I wanna know is what I can do to help it get better fast and what I can get to make it a little more comfortable. Thanks guys

H2O2 is inexpensive ($2 for a big bottle at the grocery store). just pour it on your finger. this may sting if it is really infected, and it will 'bubble' too, but it will kill all the germs. you can then try to use tweezers to get the splinter out. if you still can't get it out, put a band-aid over it until you can go to the doctor to get it out. good luck!

They use a little metal bead that they thread feathers and your hair into and then they flatten the bead with a hair device similar to pliers. I've had feathers 3 times, the first time I accidentally brushed them out my getting my hair brush caught above the bead. I went back into the salon and they put them back in for free! I had them removed for prom and put back in right after and I've had them all in since the beginning of May! None have come out :D I personally like the more neutral natural looking ones rather than the bright pinks and greens, but I also love my turquoise one! I have 1 grizzly neutral (grizzly means it's the stripped kind), 1 tan, 1 grizzly turquoise, 1 dark burgundy grizzly on the top of my head, and 3 long neutral grizzlies underneath. I get compliments all the time on them, but I get the most compliment on the grizzly turquoise one. You can definitely pull them off!! :) You can straighten and curl with your hair with them in and it doesn't harm them at all! I work for a globally known company and I work in the fresh food dept. I havent worked here long but I noticed right away the amount of waste there was. For example.. There is a rotisserie section that cooks chickens all day and they have to keep the case rotated full. At the end of the day they use some of the unbought chicken for other things but if theirs more than the need, they just chuck it. It can be as simple as a music artist whose songs I adore, a place that I plan on visiting one day, a friend who speaks that language, etc. I'm also very drawn to "rare" languages because they feel somewhat more "exotic" and are usually more challenging to learn because they are less standardized. I asked him if there was someone else and he said no other girl he just needed to work on himself. I am asking tonight what makes someone do something in such a cruel way? When all we wanted to do was love him? I mean he is friends with exes that cheated on him even? He told me once that even if someone had tried to murder him before that he would try to help them if they needed it. Yet I have cried and begged to see him and just be with him some and he has totally been hateful to us? How can I get over the fact that he changed overnight and my dreams are crushed? GTX 560 Ti Force GPU usage to 99%?

My GTX 560 Ti plays games perfectly while using 99% GPU usage. I monitor this while gaming using MSI afterburner. However, in some games like, Oblivion, it will randomly decide to use only 20% of my GPU and my frames drop from 120 to 30-40 and it starts to chug bad. It does this in several other games as well. World of Warcraft, Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and GTA IV. Its really annoying. Is there a way to force my card to run at 99% gpu usage while i game all the time? BTW, my clock speeds are not dropping and my temps are not higher than 65c. Thanks in advance for any input.

So yesterday I was playing LEGO Indiana Jones 2. I quit because my favorite TV show started. After the show ended, I opened the launcher and clicked "Play". I waited for a minute and it didn't play, so I repeated the previous action. Didn't work. And I gave up after try number 30. I then tried installing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. It came up with a window asking me "Do you want to allow the following program with an unknown publisher to make changes to your computer?" I clicked "Yes". It didn't work still. I restarted it and started playing LEGO Indiana Jones 2 and it worked. Then the game crashed and I Alt-Tab'ed and closed the game. I ran the game again. Didn't work. So now I have to restart before I play any game. I have an ASUS K53S and additional details for my PC are: it has an Intel i5 Core, Nvidia GeForce GT 540M Cuda 2GB, it is a Windows 7 and it can run Blu-Ray. Why does my hair grow so fast?

It's not really my whole head, but my bangs. They grow so fast that I end up having to cut them almost every other week. I cut my hair myself so it's not that huge of a deal but it's kind of obnoxious having to cut my hair all the time. I'll cut them and then in a week or two they'll be in my eyes again. So that's about half an inch to an inch that they grow in such a short period of time. Not to mention I straighten my hair every day and use a lot of hairspray...so I don't get why they grow so fast. So I installed a new 2tb hard drive and windows 7 home premium, and now when playing certain games, every 3-4 seconds the game will freeze for around 0.5 seconds. On Splinter Cell: Conviction, the framerate is around 40 fps but the constant frame lock makes it completely unbearable. Please help?

Ok here's my story...my parents were drug addicts when I was born. After my birth, My dad quit everything and straightened up but my mom didn't. My hair is very thick and wavy. I've been trying to let it grow longer (its about shoulder length now) but I can't because it always gets so dry and dead that I cant stand it.
